you know, I'm not completely sure, but it could be your radiator cap, or there is a leak in the radiator somewhere.. are you leaking coolant? are your coolant levels at the acceptable level? if you can, pressure test your rad, that will point you in the right direction. If the radiator DOES have proper pressure seal, and your levels of coolant are at their proper levels, check the radiator cap. (This is just in my opinion )

No pressure after taken a drive? You could have a blown HG. Any white smoke or milky oil or oil like coolant? Is your car eating coolant? Take your plugs out and check em to see if any of them have a green tint to em.

check your overflow bottle. It may just be a bad cap.

Was the radiator/hose hot? If they weren't..it's probably a stuck thermostat.

dude, if everything is good in your engine, you can drive around for 5 hours, pull over, and pop the cap, even with it running, and nothing should come out. if your car runs good, don't worry about anything. if you had a blown head gasket, coolant would spray everywhere when you popped the cap, since compression would be in the water jacket.

don't worry about anything. but if your car runs like ****, then you might have a problem somewhere.
