heres the deal I have been in the import scene for about 4 years now. Never got into depth about turbos I know the main things but not the little stuff. Is Corky Bells book the best way to learn about turboing your car? Or should I just keep putting in my usual three hours a night on HT like I have for the last week? Basically I want to turbo my car in about six months what is the best way to learn what I need to know? I have an ls in a 92-95 hatch and I want to see about 400hp. How do I go about learning what I need to know?

 

the question now is how much money do you have darton sleeves some j e endyne pistons eagle or crower rods a good clutch, You wil probably want lsd. A nice kit if you are very serious you can go to full-race.com or another one ks-motorsports .com his honda-tech name is 2k_teg he has good deals all the time. tell him AL sent you but dont go to him to flake that will **** me off.

i dont think the bottom end needs to be sleeved for only 400 hp.

Are you just throwing a number out there? 400whp for the track or on the street? what i suggest....since your new to turbocharging.....aim for lower 225-250whp....and get that car started then learn more about it.....then aim higher....then get that bottom end beefed up......225-250whp and you'll be fine with a stock bottom end.......a kit can get you there......but a custom kit will help you learn alot more about your car......MY OPINION.....get a great fuel management system......EMS, PFC, HONDATA.....and tune to your liking.....run a vafc/safc if your aiming to run a fmu.....but we here on honda-tech like the more reliable standalones........learn more read more then decide if you want to dive into spending $5000, and maybe more.......that is on quality parts
