it depends on how much you wanna spend, a stock motor will hold up just fine or if u wanna a really make it pretty solid put new internals in it

Re: boosting my integra question (steveharrmr23)
well starting with the fuel system i would get a walboro 255 fuel pump and a minium of 450cc injectors, for internals i would go with cp pistons 81.5mm bore with 9:1 compression and eagle h beam rods, you can use stock cams they will be fine unless u want it wicked, for the turbo kit i would go to treadstoneperformance.com and order the turbo kit on there its like $2000 for the kit but its a real nice starter kit

Re: (thatblkguy)
to hit 250 and maintain reliability with the stock compression ratio or would it be more reliable to run a lower compresion ratio

Re: (steveharrmr23)
you can use the stock comp ratio you just need forged pistons but i would recommend 9:1 to be extra safe and if u wanna go with more power later

Re: (D_koschak)
With good tuning, most D16's last a long time at 250whp. A B18B at 250whp should have little issues, as long as the bearings & rings are good. Oil leakage is what can get detonation occuring, as it tends to create a hot spot where it bypasses the rings.
A really cheap 'buildup' to hold 250whp would be to swap in GSR crank/rods/pistons. Its less than the price of forged rods alone, and have proven to work past 300whp (actually 400+ in many cases). The best part is you'll run lower CR than the GSR (even safer), since your B18B head chaimbers are 6.4cc larger.
BTW 407whp stock LS bottomend: http://forum.ectune.com/viewtopic.php?t=432
