Flywheels neither create or lose power.
Lower recipriocating mass is the benefit of a lighter flywheel. This would allow the engine to rev "faster", but the power produced is not changed.
We could get into the physics of it... and talk about the mass of the driveline (including wheels/tires) and all... but let's not, ok?
