Default hole in the firewall

ok i removed the firewall plug on the passenger side to run my power cable to my amp, and then lost the plug... does this cause anything detremental to the aerodynamics of the car, or am i just an idiot about to be flamed for asking this question? i can hear lots of air pouring into my car when i speed up, and it also sounds like the engine is sitting next to me all the time, so i keep thinking there's something wrong w/ my car... the part shouldn't be that hard to replace right?

Water will get in. Replace it. Acura has a blow up of all the plugs in the firewall. Just point out what one you need.

Actually depending on the plug you used, there are really hard plastic ones and some are more "rubbery" if you take one of the more rubbery ones, and cut a small slit in it and push the power cable thru it makes a REALLY good seal. Even more than water being a problem, it can be really noisy. I never had water come through but it was really loud. Anyhow just a suggestion.
