RCA plug swap/replacement. help!?!
So on the amp end of my wiring kit one of my rcas got smashed so i cut a plug off my old n64, when i cut off my rca from my car it had two thin wires coated separately whereas my N64 one just had one thicker wire. Can I combine the two smaller wires onto the thicker replacement?
or is it a totally different kind of rca plug, I have some double ended rca's from a home audio system, think one of those plugs would better fit my needs?

Audio RCA's have two wires within each lead (left and right) to seperate positive and negative. Twisting the two together and attaching it to your N64 RCA tip will cause problems. You do not want to do that. Find another audio RCA cable and either adapt the tip to your existing cable, or better yet, replace the ruined RCA cable all together.
