so what fuse do you hook it up to or can you hook it up directly to the battery?
i thought the red one had to go to the ignition wire?

thats the way i did it, but the car won't turn off. i take the key out and the car stays on, but it won't turn off unless i disconnect the red wire.

when i touch the red wire to that wire that it goes to on the ignition wires, the turbo timer comes on, my battery light comes on, my tach comes on too. why would that
happen? if i leave the red wire wired to that wire on the ignition, it will stay on and won't turn off.

also...does the red wire have to go there or can you put it somewhere else?

i have the black wire to a bolt that is by the hood relese deal. wouldn't having the ground wire grounded and the red wire connected make the turbo timer come on cause the red and black wire are connected?

okay...hooking it up to the radio fuse didn't work cause when i turn off the car, the turbo timer turns off too. i didn't turn on the car, just turn the ignition foward to see if it came on and it did. when i turned the ignition key to the off position, the turbo timer turned off too.

okay...i had it hooked up like the pic in the above post, but when i hook up the red wire, my guages would light up,my check engine light would come on and then turn off, my battery light comes on too. its just like i turned the ignition foward, but without the key in there.

so i took off the blue wire and nothing happened. i took off the green wire, and the guage lights turned off, my battery light turned off along with everything else that was on. i touched the green wire back to the wire its supposed to be connected to and all those things came on again.

i then ran the red wire to the battery, and those lights came on again. anybody know why this is happening? i can't figure this out.

also...i do have an alarm that is automatically armed when the ignition key is turned off and the door is closed. do you think that could be causing the problem? since the alarm arms itself when the ignition is turned off, it could be hooked up to the ignition wires somewhere?

wire all the 12v signals into the fuse box, its much easier, you have extra ports in your fuse box for 12v signal ,
i believe off memory there is constant, switched and acc. just gotta test them with a meter and turning the key and car on and off. to test the signals.

i think my alarm is the problem here. whenever i connect the green wire, the turbo timer will stay one and the other things that i mentioned.

is there anywhere else i can put the green wire to?

my alarm has a wire spliced into just about every ignition wire.

HELP!!
