MSD Igniotion +wire. What switched 12v wire did you use?

MSD Igniotion +wire. What switched 12v wire did you use?
I was thinking of just wiring it straight to the battery like C-speedracing.com has it, but I would rather have it wired like the instructions say. Which is to wire it to a switched 12v source. Where did you guys wire yours?

I'm not sure which 12v wire your referring to. I wired the thick red wire to the battery, even msd say that. The thin red wire goes to a 12v ignition(switched 12v) yel/black wire on the dist.

Alright, I missed that in the instructions. I got the large red wire mixed with the 12V switched wire. Thanks guys! Stupid me!
