if so, is there any difference? i already have a vafc and fpr, is chipping my ecu neccesary? thanks

 

My friend tried them chips twce for his GSR swap. He was chipping his obd1 GSR ecu with a Skunk2 program. First time, the chip made his car rev lemit at 3k.

Second time, it made his ECU do the same thing but when removed the ECU was done and would no longer rev past 3k....

indeed stay away from ebay stuff. unless you have dealt with a seller. there are many other sellers here on board that stand behind their product.

I would recommend to stay away from ebay stuff in general.
