Default CD Player

hi all, i have one question, my del sol has the stock speakers and stock am/fm radio. i want to by a new cd player and speakers, i like driving with my roof off and windows down, so preferably something that is loud enough for me to hear. all i really wanted to know is do you know of any good, nice sounding loud in dash cd players, and some speakers that put out some good sound? thanks a lot,
Wesley

How much are you looking to spend? I personally like component speakers (seperate mids and tweets) because they can be the loudest, but generally you have to run a seperate amp for them..

Just replacing the stock head unit with aftermarket will provide a huge boost. Stock head units put out very little power (RMS), while aftermarket provide double or more power. Replacing your front speakers will give you the most loudness, while rear fill (if the del sol has it), will provide more base (6x9s 5x7s,etc..)
