I am looking into what valvetrain to run with a built b18 motor? I took a ls block and sleeved it to a 2.0L with dart sleeves. I am running 12.5 je piston with crower rods. The head is a b16 with a gsr tranny. I have a p28 and am also wondering what burn to run since don't have the money for hondata.

My first questions is can I get away with just getting cams ,valve springs, and retainers no valves?

Second i have look at skunk2 , jun , and i have heard alittle about ef-1 but don't know what the best would be for this setup?

I planned on it to be a daily driver

I'm assuming that your using a LS crank and internals... since they are beefed up already, you can run whatever you want on the top... and rev till the cows come home... I'm looking into Skunk2 myself... but ef-1 is good as well, so is JUN... it doesnt really matter who you choice... they are all good in there own respects... look into TODA... they make good mid range-top end cams which would be good for a 2.0... IMO

PS.... if your looking for valves... look at the other post in this forum.... "Best valves for all motor"..
