Default My clutch decided its had enough

Allright, i wake up this morning to go to work and i push down the clutch, and its been having low pressure for a while, so i push it down and it goes to the floor and has no pressure and then just chills down there and i cant get it in gear at all. So its time for a new clutch yipeee. I was mainly wondering what you guys reccomend i should go for. I want something cheap with maybe a little more grabbing power. I dont plan to do anything besides IHE really so do you guys think i should just go OEM? Let me know guys, thanks.

actually if you are running a hydraulic clutch, no pressure in the clutch pedal is a good indicator either the slave or master cylinder is bad. I'd take a good look at both of them for leaks.

you can get a slave cylinder for ~40$ and a master cylinder for ~100.
much cheaper than a clutch job.

clutch master and slave are cheaper and easier to replace. Take a look at the floor above the clutch pedal. If its greasy looking (brake fluid) your master cylinder is leaking. It seems to be a pretty common problem on older hondas. The slave is located on the tranny. I'm not really sure how to determine if its leaking other then looking at it.

Replacement is easy. I would say a step above an oil change. here are the parts, http://www.acuraautomotivepart...y.jsp 9 and 6. plus brake fluid.
