Default Little Black box and sensor when installing aem cai on a 5th gen

what am i supposed to do with this thing? The intake mounts in the screwhole that holds the box down. There is also a vaccum hose which runs from somewhere around my throttle body to the black box--then from the black box down into my fenderwell where my filter is that is attached to some sorta sensor.

Everything is more or less sitting in my engine bay. I was thinking about zip tying the line to other parts. Has anyone tried anything else?? AEM says you can disconnect the black box but i dont want my CEL comming on for a disconnected sensor.

thanks yall!!
