Default i need help quick...control arm problem

ok ok i know iam stupid but heres the problem---my control arm is hitting the top of my inner fender wells really bad after putting on a camber kit......its not even lowered yet!....but when i lower it of course the control arms are gonna touch the fender wells....if i shave the wells and file the control arm its still gonna hit if i try to lower my car and reduce fender gap with the camber kit......so my question is should i just **** the camber kit and lower the car without one.....or should i try to shave off as much as possible??? anyone ever heard or had this problem before i need some advice!

It might only be doing that because you haven't lowered. If you put a camber kit on without it being lowered won't you car have a lot of positive camber?

the upper contral arm is hitting the body if the car was lowered thin it would be closer to the body, so it would hit harder and more often

I've seen this happen on lowered cars when they pull the camber back positive but never on a stock car with a camber kit, is it possible you're running too much positive camber? In either case, if you lower the car, this will still probably happen and it's time to take a grider to the inner fender.

its most likely a ingalls style camber kit. If your really low you will bottom out on the inner fender. either grind it out or raise up your car.

My Ingalls kit works fine, my UCA has never hit my inner fender. I bet he has the kind that replaces the UCA or the balljoint kind. Ingalls style seems to work the best.
