Turbo seals / oil line press
i saw this thread a while ago , and can't find it. I saw someone that posted up about their seals on their turbo going only after a couple thousand miles due to the fact that our h series has such high oil pres at high revs.,
so the question is
what size oil line do you guys use?
and do you use some time or restrictor so that the turbo seals don't see to much oil press?
and whats the max oil press a turbo needs to stay healthy?

well from what i have read, i think the smaller feed line would do the trick. I haven't been able to find any good information about a restrictor as far as how to make one. i have read that they work great but i really have no idea what it is. So i think im going to get -3 feed line from Flamenco-T. this is what he has for the oil feed kit for like 55 bucks
Oil feed line kit
1- 1/8" BPST (M) to 1/8" NPT(F) Aluminum (Will not CRACK!)
1- 1/8" NPT T-fitting Brass
1- 1/8" to -3 fitting Brass
1- 43" of -3 Stainless steel braided lines (Goodridge)
1- 90deg. 1/8" to -3 (fitting on turbo) Brass

heh thats weird i just pm him alittle while ago, and will see what he gets back to me with prob EXACTLY what u listed, is that 55 shipped, do u thing it a good deal?
yah, it seems like a good deal i tried piecing together some stuff and i couldnt get anything quite as low. also he has all the fittings that i need. are you going to tap the head for the oil feed or are you comming form the rear of the block? I decided to go with the head, It seems a lot cleaner looking to me
i haven't decided that yet really, mean i know the head is alot cleaner and what not, but i just don't know if there is significant oil press up there, and i don't want to starve the head of oil, im not sure yet, are you worried about stealing oil from teh head? but i know many have done this before without problems,
