Same as above, talking about the house that surrounds the outside (plastic)

 

You have to swap more than just the plastic. I heard it's a pain, that's why I haven't done it.

 

do a search, its been discussed 20x times in the last couple weeks.

 

i swapped the climate controls in my 98, but there were some mods that had to be done....
the vents are in a different spot so the tube in the dash doesnt line up...i cut mine...because its not that big a deal to me cause i just needed it to fit in so i didnt have a hole....but the vents work fine......the 2 screws that mount the 96-98 climate panel are not used anymore but they get in the way so they had to be cut off too...

next, the controls wont all work unless you get the 99 civic vent control box, its electric and our 96-98 our cable actuated....

you can get a few of them working....like the vents option one...the speed one....and i think thats it.... but you have to wire it yourself....

i havent done that so i dont know exactly
