Help!!!!
After doing a valve adjust on my GSR (twice mind you) a few weeks ago, I was still bothered a bit with a small bit of noise. So again, being the idiot that I am, decided to try it again to double check the specs.
While tightening one of the exhaust valves on piston 4, I over torqued it and ended up stripping the threads!!!! It's the weekend (and Monday's a holiday), so everyone is closed up and I can't find a replacement for my destroyed lock nut. The problem is, I need my car to drive up to Ottawa tomorrow!!
What are the consequences of driving with an improperly set exhaust valve? Let alone, the lock nut is loose. What are my options?
Can I pull out the #4 spark plug and just run off 3 cylinders?
Please help!!

I could probably unscrew it with my hand...
I think I've decided to leave my car in the garage and take the bus up... I don't want to take any risks...
I'm assuming NAPA and Honda sell the replacement nuts?

Listen to what has happened people..
when doing a valve adjustment yourself theres is no need to "crank" down a locking valve nut with "everything you got!"
Locking nuts require approx 10 ft lbs torque... Thats not much!
Just enough to make them nice and snug..
Jeez Matt, your 1st post scared the crap outta me cuz I figured you were gonna chance it w/ a loose locking nut!
