Switch the SiR intermediate shaft for a 90-93 Integra (non-ABS manual trans) intermediate shaft and you'll be good to go.

Did you take the dust ring off the hub? Is the axle all the way in the tranny?

About the axle not going thru the hub ALL the way...thats most likely due to the slight rust/dirt that causes the axle to get stuck and not slide thru completely. Try spraying WD-40 inside the hub on the splines to kinda clean and lube it or u can put the axle in as far as it will go then just sit on ur *** and kinda kick with ur feet on the brake rotor or on the studs, that should force the axle thru the hub enough to get the nut started. Both of these methods worked for me.

Should fit fine. As long as its a B series cable tranny and B series cable tranny halfshaft, it should fit fine. It's the axles u have to worry about when changing half shafts, you have to match them to the half shaft. Check out hasport.com i think they have some good half shaft and axle info that will help u out on which axles u need for that SiR halfshaft.

if you keep the sir half-shaft you will need 86-89 teg axles w/ 90-93 teg inner cv joints! I just went through a big ordeal w/ my car.

do you HAVE to take off the hub dust ring for the axle to fit all the way in?

Dont think u do but i "hear" it causes the axle to bind when driving with the dust ring on. Then again, i have "heard" of quite a few people leaving the dust seals on and having NO problems whatsoever. I would think it would be better for the axle itself in the long run. Try it both ways and get back to me and tell me how it worked.

alright update...i bought a 90-93 halfshaft and the axles worked fine but so that everyone knows the siR one is a little longer than the integra but just use 90-93 axles and halfshaft and no other mods are needed

Get the 90-91 teg int shaft. It is stamped sk7 on it, then you can stock 90-93 non abs axles in it, andnot have to build a axle everytime you blow one.

flip the axle nut around, it'll pull the axle into the hub. THen remove it and finish the job.
