I bought a bunch of big open end/box combos and they're NOT big enough.
Does anyone know the fitting sizes on the a/c piping?
They're bigger than 21mm, I know that much.

I have dont know what all of them are but I do know that I used a 7/8th wrench for some of them (possibly by the firewall??) Another tool that worked great for me was a big adjustable wrench!! Oh and with a lot of them I had to use 2 wrenches so that they wouldnt break cause some of the sides are corroded. Bang on them a little with a wrench to break up the corrosion a little.

But, I tried 7/8, that works on some, but others seem about a 1/4 - 1/2 in bigger.

Hmmm? I really dont remember how big they were?? I guess sicne I had the adjustable wrench I didnt pay attention to it?? Here is another option if you want the wrenches to fit it if you do have an adjustable you could fit it on there tightly and then just measure the space so then you will know what wrenches you need...That is of course if you ahve an adjustable big enough!!

You don't get rid of it.
You bring the car to liscened shop and they recycle it. Cost me like $7.00<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Sideout »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">how do you get rid of the feron? I used a fat *** crecent wrench on the big A/C lines. As for "getting rid of the A/C refrigerant," if the A/C system no longer works and hasn't worked for many years, then most likely there is nothing even left in the system.
i think the biggest i used was a 22mm that was the one by the firewall. The one in front right in the middle of the car might be alittle bigger, just get urself a cresent wrench.
