I feel stupid...suspension install question...
I feel stupid, but I need to ask. It seems that I left a piece out of my rear suspension setup...
I'm installing my tokiko blue's on the rear w/hnr race springs.
My problem is that the rear right one the shock shaft comes through the inside of my car, due to the metal dust cover bending letting it slide right thru...
Is the metal dust cover the only thing that holds it back from doing it? I'm going to try puttin a washer in it today, but should this be happening?

Is there any way you could post a pic? I'm having a hard time figuring out what you mean by "metal" dust cover. my hatch has a rubber boot, followed by a plastic cover.
No you left out a washer
asseble it like this
1) slide on the bumpstop
2) then there is a thick washer it slides on and stops at the step in the shaft
3) the dust cover
4)the top mount
5) a thin washer
6) the nut
#2 is the piece you left out....I'll see if I can find some pics of it for you, its a thick heavy washer thats about 2-3 mm thick. The tapered side faces down and the flat side faces up...look at it and you will see what I mean.

Crap I re-assembled the rear set today and did it like this...
1) slide on the bumpstop
2) the dust cover
3) then there is a thick washer it slides on and stops at the step in the shaft
4)the top mount
5) a thin washer
6) the nut
Also the front hasn't shot thru (yet), but I'm pretty sure I left out these thick washers also....oh well, time to start wrenching-again.
