Default Wiring door actuators to Ungo Aux. output (already searched)

I'm installing a shaved door handle kit and the actuator is activated by a ground pulse and my Ungo alarm has an Aux. function that when the button is pressed it provides ground to a wire. I've tried connecting that wire to the ground of the actuators I've tried 4 pin relays and I've tried a 5 pin relay but it seems as though that wire doesn't provide a good enough ground.

Does anyone have any ideas? I'd really like to put my dash back on

when you ground the wire on the actuator to chassis ground does it work?

Im going to guess it should be wired aftermarket actuator stylee.
( there's 2 wires on it, and when one is +12, and the other is ground it pops open ? )

Ya if I ground it, it pops.

care to elaborate on the aftermarket actuator style?

I need the relay to connect the circuit when I hit the botton that provides a weak ground. How else can I do this?

Your relay should look something like this......

86 - 12v+
85 - aux. output from alarm (ground pulse)
30 - ground trigger on actuator
87 - chassis ground

It looks exactly like that but it still doesn't work

The aux from the alarm doesn't provide enough ground to energise the coil in the relay.
Is there any other relays that take less of a ground?

It doesn't take much to energize the relay. Do you have a digital multimeter to test with? Have you tried another relay? Can you try another channel output? There's also the possibility of the alarm brain being defective.

I've tested it with a multimeter and its not providing enough of a ground.
I've got it to work with the door lock output on the alarm but I would still rather be able to pop my door whenever I want not only when disarming the alarm.

What about the other things I mentioned?? (another relay, different aux. ouput)

You may have blown the driver if you tried to power the soloniod directly off your module ( with out the relay).

a relay needs approx. around 100 mA to energize the coil. I bet the Aux out is rated for up to 500.

As long as your module is grounded properly, and there's nothing else branched off that aux out, it should be able to provide plenty of current to collapse a relay.

measure impedance: neg battery post vs. where you module is grounded. what's the reading? if your ground is good then I'd say the aux out put is cooked

Ya i've tried another rely.
I'm thinking the aux output may be cooked also. I'm gonna open it up and check.
