Rubbing or grinding with 16 inch rims?
I just got some new rims for my dc2 and they are 16 inch rota's with Nitto NT450 205/50R/16 tires. My car isnt lowered at all, but i do have ground controls all the way up at stock height. Ive noticed when i make turns sometimes or go up or down steep hills or bumps, i hear a kinda grinding loud sound? is this the tire rubbing against the fender walls? do i need a smaller tire? What is this sound?

I think it could be two things:
1. Your tires are rubbing your fenderwell. This is unlikely though since you're at stock height. I could turn my wheel almost to the locking position before I heard rubbing, and I was dumped on 16's. How far can you turn the wheel before you hear the noise?
2. Did you replace your shocks/struts when you put in the ground controls? I'm not sure if you're putting stress on them sitting at stock height, but I also had ground controls with stock shocks (my car was race dropped) and when going over bumps I could hear loud creaking noises coming from the shocks. It means they're wearing/worn out.

if you were rubbing the fender wells, you'd hear a scrap sound when your chassis dips. Have a look at your fenderwells for wear to verify. The grinding sound you described may be related to your suspension.
any reason why youre using 205/50R/16 tires?
205/45-16 is the proper size (wheel diameter closest to stock without affecting the speedometer reading).
The sidewalls are a bit higher with 50's.
