Default Which Tranny to use with D16z6 with JRSC

Hi, guys my del sol with D16z6 supercharged, tranny is going. It's grinding in 2nd gear. But anyways would it be better for me to use? I currently have these couple tranny's laying around

92 SI tranny
92 DX tranny
93 DX tranny
97 CX tranny

Which one would be better? Would the DX one be better because of the longer gear ratio? Or should I stick with the SI?

Stick with the z6 or y8 trannies. The y8 are a bit stronger internally fwiw.

Dont they make an adapter plate now that enables you to use B series trannys with D series motors? or is that just H/F series

I remember it was to adapt b series trannies to the h series engines. Its due to the tranny problems the h-series experience with heavy abuse.

Ok, I have a DX tranny on a Z6 motor... it's not the fastest thing...but I like it... the car stays in vtec longer than straight Y8 or Z6 setups, but it will hold your engine in boost longer.

I've had both. The dx used to bog real bad and didnt have any get up and go. I like the d16z6 tranny. I still kept the tranny around for getting compression out of the bay :-)
