knock sensor code

i'm running an obd0 pr3 on my d16z6 in a 91 crx. i've managed to fix all of the codes except for the knock sensor. what codes will keep the ecu from going into vtec? what can i do, short of having the block drilled and tapped, to convince the ecu that the knock sensor is working so i can get rid of the CEL? thanks

are you sure your knock sensor is working? OR hooked up?

Mine kept coming on a few minutes after I would start the car. Turns out it was just loose and it vibrating was causing it to set off the CEL. I tightened it and damn that wasn't easy, its a tight fit down there and its a big freaking bolt.

Make sure it works and it is tight first.
