fuel pressure?
i have a b&m fpr and gauge... when my car is running it only reads about 26psi... i can adjust it however it doesnt change at all until a few minutes after i turn the car off... could my fuel pump be going out?
whats prob happening is your topping the PSI on the pump itself. Your only getting 26PSI b/c your not disconnecting the vac line running to the FPR (most likely) which should be around 36-40 PSI. When a fuel pump is going out it will do it while under a load not while sitting and at idle.
even when i disconnect the vaccum line, nothing happens... the pressure stays the same no matter what... until the car has been sitting a few minutes after turning it off... then the pressure will go up and i will be able to adjust it while the car is off... but the second i turn the car back on, it goes right back down
You used the Spring from the FPR kit and the gasket is not leaking?? Try taking it apart again and check the o-ring see if that got distroyed/pinched. I did have that problem and if I remember it wouldn't adj any higher. I got a replacement o-ring at autozone.
