EDFC With Tein SS? Yes Or No?
I have a 1992 Honda Civic Hatch Back. I'm currently in the process of buying some Tein SS for it. I'm buying the Acura Integra GSR Version because of the stiffer spring rate, but i'm up in the air about the EDFC System.
On Tein's Website, it says the EDFC works with the Tein SS on the Integra application. They have a different part number then the Flex EDFC counter part. I'm thinking its more clearance like everyone has been saying, but my Civic is gutted to S.hit so I'm not worried about my rear shocks have clearance problems. I'm thinking it might be the front shocks might sit too high where the EDFC controller might hit the hood.
Now when you scroll down to the EG Civic Tein SS. It says its not compatible. I thought the difference between the civic & integra system was just the spring rates. But if you move your eyes more to the right, it says the EDFC will work on the FLEX.

I'm really confused here. I really want the EDFC for my Civic Hatch. Which part number would I buy, the Tein SS for the Integra, or the FLEX EDFC for the Civic?
Bottom line, Integra Tein SS in EG6 Hatch. Which EDFC controller do i buy?
Any insight to the situation would be greatly appricated.
Thanks!

I've heard of people putting them in with mods. 96+ would be easier since theres more room cause I have a buddy that put them in with no probs or so he says

Anyone care to explain more if it will or will not fit?

Why for some small convience. Not worth the hassle IMO.

Anyone can explain?</TD></TR></TABLE>
it is possible its a misprint.
you know not many people have dropped the 2000 or so dollars for a EDFC suspension.

It will work with the ss's on a civic, BUT you cannot close the hood
I guess you could go cutting up the hood to make it fit, but the hood needs support in that area badly so it might not be that good of an idea.
It is a bad *** concept, I'd love to be ripping up gingerman and be able to adjust the suspension WHILE driving. Not having to pit to make minor adjustments.

thanks man for clearing that up. Do you know which model number I would have to buy so that I can cut as little off my hood?
Thanks In advance.
