"Suick Change" stut assy.. ..what do I need?
Hi all,
I am thinking about using two sets of struts for my 98 EX.. ..one set of 4 (the factory strut/spring assembly) for wintertime and another set of 4 high-performance ones with lowering springs for the summertime.
I'd like to keep both assemblies intact, in other words as bolt-in units, complete with all necessary hardware so I can just pull out one type and install the other wihtout fiddling around with the spring compressor or swapping parts.
What will I need to make for a complete assembly? I see shock bellows, mounts, and bumpstops for sale on various sites like NOPI but is that it? Do I need a separate bearing or does that come with the mounts?
Thanks very much for any and all help!!

OK tell me if this sounds like I got it right..
The parts I'd need (per shock) are (2) of part#6, (1) of part#12, (1) of part#5.. ..and the rest of the parts (#7,9) are what come with the 'top hat'?
I take it that part# 10 is what might look like a bellows on another strut and then #s 8 and 13 are the washers for it, and the bumpstop (#11) slides inside of sleeve #10.
Is that about right? sorry for the ignorance but I've never done a strut install on a Honda before
Thanks!

you need
qty. 1 - 14,5,12,7,9,10,11,13,8
qty. 2 - 6
i got kyb agx struts and they came with the top nut(14) and the rears came with the dust boot and bumpstop (10,11)
the rears also need #6 on the picture below, it stops your spring from squeaking.
fyi, get some extra lower bolts (17) too because they are know to break on hondas.
btw, i have some of those parts from my install if you need them. very cheap.
