Default Wobbling sound coming from up front?

I get a wobbling sound from the front of the car when I drive it down the highway. Pretty loud. Almost like some seriously out of balance tires would, but I don't get steering wheel shake. I can feel it coming through the pedals. It's not the CV's because those got changed out this weekend. I was thinking wheel bearings, but it does it at high and low (5 MPH) speeds. That's why I was kinda unsure about the wheelbearing, since usually you don't hear a bad one at that slow of a speed. Anybody have any ideas here of what it might be?

How new are your tires? How many miles do you have on them?

Tires are brand spankin' new. I'd say less than 200 miles on 'em. BF Goodrich something or anothers.

Well, seems like I found the problem.
I yanked everything appart today because the noise was getting worse and worse. Pulled that long *** bolt out that hold the fork on, and undid the nut that hold the lower balljoint together. Swung the whole hub assembly out after loosening the axle nut. Pulled the calliper and rotor off, and gave the hub a spin. Sounds like sand inside the wheel bearing. I gave the halfshaft a spin just to make sure that IT wasn't bad and it's smooth as silk. Great news for me. Went to Checker's, picked up a new wheel bearing ($59) and went home thinking I was gonna do the job right then and there. WRONG ANSWER!!! Need a damn hydraulic press to do the job. So I might just slap everything back together and drive the car to a shop and have them do it. Less headache for me.
So, should I go ahead and have them do the other side too since the car is already there anyway? I didn't pull that side appart to see how that bearing was sounding though. Eh, I think I'll just stick with the one side for now.

i actually just replaced the whole hub assebly. the assembly cost me $50 a hub.... instead of pressing the new wheel bearings in. ive heard the 5th gen hubs bolt up to 4th gen. i guess nows your time to do a 5 lug conversion... if thats what your in to.

Yeah have fun pressing out the bearings. I though i had to do that to do a 5 lug conversion. So i did the 5th gen ones (pressed out the bearings). Then figured out i didnt need to do it on the front so i had to go press then back in. Let me tell you it was a PITA if you don't have the Damn press holders that honda uses to do that job.

Could've just went a bought a spindle from a junk yard. prolly the same price and alot less work, but you run the risk of that wheel bearing being bad.

wait... are you trying to say you have to press the rear and not the front???

The front wheel bearing is pressed into the knuckle. You have to get it pressed (atleast this was my experience).

The rears are not pressed at all. OK well they are, but into the hub assembly. I looked and could not find just a rear wheel bearing at all anywhere. They all came pre-bundled in the hub assembly, which runs for about $75. The hub pulles right off (The inside back cover peice might be stuck to the spindle... you have to chisle or somehow get it off). Then just use super fine sand paper on the spindle to smooth it down, pop the new hub assembly on... and put your rear end back together. Really easy

Wobbling noise Fixed!!! Yay!!!!!
Verdict was a bad passenger side wheel bearing. I'm soooo glad it wasn't anything big inside the tranny. I took the car to a shop this morning, and told 'em to give me a call when they got the bearing in. Well, 2 hours into the job they call me and tell me it's done. The guy drove it and said it was as quiet as can be. When I went to go pick up the car I asked the guy how bad the old bearing was and he said that the the only thing that was still intact was the inside sleeve. The rest of the bearing literally fell appart when they pressed it out. I wish I would have take the thing home with me and posted some pictures of it. I'm just glad I didn't blow it off and drive the 640 miles down to Kansas this past weekend like I originally had planned.
Anyway, thanks for any pointers guys. Help is much appreciated.
