Default SOny Audio products!? I have this deck in mind

It is this
http://www.futureshop.ca/catal...tid=9

I have an Alpine 6CD Changer and it says it has changer control, which is good. I seem to have heard not so nice things about Sony products but this baby is 269 Canadian, installed. Which is good.

Any experience with this particular unit or sony products in general?

indeed you are correct which is why today I had to switch to this

CDM 9801

I think this may be even better than the Sony.

Most if not all Alpine head units will be better than Sony although i haven't had any problems with mine. If your changer has an FM modulator you will be able to use it with any deck

BE CAREFULL, AI-net changer control only powers AI-net changers, not compatable with M-BUS.

Only alpine decks can control it
