I need to make a switch for my amps preferably 1 switch to shut down my 3 amps. so my subs wont work. Got a ticket for stereo So i wanna get a switch hooked up for them to shut it off near PIGS.

 

Lol try turning off your radio. Or just have all the ground wires going to a switch.

 

u hook it too the blue wire "remote wire"
just mount the switch nearby for easy access.

 

will a 20 amp toggle switch work? i can hide it somewhere.

 

A 20-amp switch is too much. All you need is a simple switch that connects one end to your radio's remote turn-on lead and the other end to the amps' remote turn-on inputs.

BTW, how amps do you have? Too many amps on a radio's remote turn-on output can burn it out eventually. A relay will solve this.

 

2 phoenix gold ti 1200.1 amps and 2 phoenix gold ti 300/2 amps.

 

switch on the 3 remote wire. simple enough

I use pause, mute or volume buttons But just put a small toggle switch. Remote leads draw very little current, so you should be fine.

 

i say fugg it, be gangster, bump it louder when the pigs see u. ive gotten 2 of them. $86 each. the reason y they pull u over is cuz they dont have one

yes i would normaly do that but i cant be gangster anymore. 1 more ticket i will lose my license and that means no more racing or going to HIN's and i cant miss them.
