Default blew engine, have some engine swap ?s

1) What timing belt do I use with a A6 block/B2 head?

2) How do I get the crank pulley off (unbolt) an engine w/ no trans and no head?

3) How do I get the head gasket residue off the block/head?

4) How can I pull the engine and leave the trans in?

3) gasket scraper or wire wheel
4) bitch and swear alot it will help.

1. No idea.
2. Save yourself pain and have someone w/ an impact gun do it.
3. Scrape for a week with a razor blade, then cry and pray it seals. (like me)
4. I'm putting in a new engine also, but I plan to take out the tranny with it...I think it seems easier, why would you want to leave it in?

btw, how did the turbo stuff work out for you? I remember selling some of it to you, don't remember what stuff though. I shoulda kept it...goin back to the boost

1) b2 head is same casting as a6 so use a6 belt.
2) impact gun or two bolts in flywheel and bolt in engine where tranny mounts and a big *** screw driver to keep it from moving
3) gasket claener spay stuff
4) don't do that its a waste of time
