Default obd2 greddy blue box work on an obd1 car???

I originally bought a greddy turbo kit for a 99 integra ls, however now I am running a 95 ls motor in a 92 h/b. I am running an fmu set-up which I am not all that fond about, and I would like to know for 100% sure if the blue box will work on my car. I did do a search and found some people saying it can be done, however when I talked to greddy today the guy there said that it would not work. Hopefully some of you guys can help me out a little here.... thanks

Of course it will work. I used to run that same turbo kit on a 95 gsr. You just have to get a pin out guide to that ECU and hook up the correct wires.

Thats why I have been trying to get some other opinions because the guy who answers the phone for greddy told me that it will not work at all. I told him that I had heard of people doing this before, and his answer was they must be the lucky ones. As soon as I heard that, I knew I needed more opinions.... So obd1 vs obd2 has no effect on the blue box.., right??

Greddy will of course not tell you it can work. They would rather you go out and spend the money on a new kit and new box for YOUR car. Double check around this forum and I'm sure you will find the pinout guides you need.

For example the OBDI blue box that came with the SOHC kit was meant only for the 92-95 civics, however many people are running this same kit on the 96-98 OBDII civics with the right rewiring.
