Default relocating battery

I want to relocate my battery to the back and I'm wondering... I have a heavy duty battery that pumps out 58 amp/hr and a good beefy starter. Would a 4 gauge wire work for me or should I just pay an extra $20 for the 1 gauge wire that comes with the kit?

I'm using 4 gauge, no probs. Just make sure you run your grounds correctly. Costed me my starter. Run the ground from your neg battery to chassis(rear), then keep you tranny casing ground to chassis(front)-used my stock one where the battery originally was. Also keep your ground from the valve cover.

What RAWB said...4 gauge is perfectly fine.. Just be sure to fuse it correctly.
