scary driving my car....
ive had aftermarket coilovers for a bit now on my 6th gen...and i keep hearing stories that your stock shocks will get shot or what not...everytime the road gets bumpy i freak out since it might blow...where can i go to buy good yet AFFORDABLE aftermarket shocks?....ebay is full of tokico but 400?...i was thing 290 and under....im just a paranoid person towards my car...cant let it get hurt if you kno what i mean
Koni yellows, or tokico illuminas. Anything else will probably blow with coilovers, especially cheap ones. I have illuminas on my 6th gen and I'm very happy with them. Just save the extra hundred, not that much more to save to have a better product.
BTW: no KYB's for 6th gens.

I would just get tokico blue brtuha they wont neccessarilly blow only if you lower it to low like past 3 at the most dont go over that and you should be straight. I believe that tokic guarantee their shocks for like 2 years if they blow providing that you didnt lower it past their standards of how it should be lowered and dont go past their specifications. And be sure to keep the guarantee card and proof of purchase.
