Better way to cool?
Friend just installed a turbo on his hatch and the beast is running HOOOOT. He has shut it off at 222 before (autometer water temp gauge). The Intercooler is huge and blocks most of the air going to the radiator. The intake blocks the stock fan so we wired up an EF pusher fan on the other side of the radiator. Anyone else got any ways to keep cool? I think he might just run a screen over the intake and put the stock fan on to see. Thanks for your opinions and help.

thermostat wont help cool his radiator though. it will just open earlier. is your fan running at all times? maybe just wire it to a fuse to have it run constantly

discount/advanced autoparts sells a great slim rad. fan for $70. It cooled my 5.0 mustang just fine, so I'm going to get one for my civic too b/c the turbo stuff is pretty close to the rad.
I'm sure its better than the stock mini pos fans.

get an aluminum racing radiator, two slim fans from summit, the ones that summit pushes 900 cfm at only 10 inches and 2 1/4 depth. make them puller fans and put one on the radiator and one on the a/c condensor and your done.
