Default Suggestions on Suspension set-up for my ITR?

I need something that will give me some nice grip for my 1/4mile, but also interested in doing some Roger Foo type driving. I was thinking of Ground Control Springs and Koni shocks. I heard that they are the bomb.

Thanks, Salza

Great, if you think APC is the "shizzy" then you do it.....but I wouldn't put that crap on my car.

There are a tremendous amount of postings here in the R forum as well as the RR/A forum that will not only discuss suspension theory but, provide you with suggestions and ideas on setups for your planned goal.

I strongly suggest Searching and Scouring Before asking for something that is already out there and readily available.

Many thanks to Yoshi2324

I'd also strongly suggest the stock suspension until you master it and can outdrive it consistantly.

Yeah, this Salza guy might be an idiot for getting all that crap........But I think that 2000 Integra R #760 is even "more clownshoes" for buying Spoon crap.

Mugen makes Formula 1 engines, What the hell does spoon make.

Spoon: Rich Rice
APC: Poor Rice.

spoon builds some of the fastest circuit driven integras and civics which is what half of us drive. Maybe .02% of us drive fomula 1 cars. So I would say spoon is more up my alley. but then again I'm not a Formula 1 driver. As far as Roger Foo's style suspension set ups you would need a mazda cause thats what he drives for now. If you are serious about a good suspension I suggest Zeal B6 or JIC FLTA2. But if your price range is much smaller you won't be disappointed with the GC and koni's. But then again you might be a Formula 1 driver.

Spoon has products that are re-badged products.......Rims, ex. I agree they make nice road race cars, but their real success has come with stock motor N1 racing not like mugen or other companies......Zeal, Buddyclub, Toda, ex.

I believe that Spoon makes nice street/show equipment, but if you believe that your car is faster because of Spoon equip. Great.

Header and exhuast are good products, Rims light ($$$) but Spoon doesn't make. Other equip.

Thanks for time........."Do what you want, not my R"

Spoon has cars they built all over the world including the Nubergring 24 hours endurance racing, HKTCC , n1 , Civic and ITR veno cup and one make race.

They would have been involved in grand am road racing with an s2000 but they were told no right hand drive cars would be allowed.

While they might not make alot of thier parts then again neither does many different brands however most of them are of top notch quality.

I would not buy a spoon motor because I can find the same quality in the states but you certainly cannot knock them

How much are you willing to spend? If you are on a budget, the GCC springs and Koni shocks would be great entry level set up. If not, they're are so many suspension set ups to choose from. Try using the search function, i found the alot of related threads with good info that could help you out.

I didn't want to buy the spoon spring because people on board had problems with the ride height and also fitment with koni shocks. Seems spoon is a little expensive for the products they make. I saw an air filter for $120.00 when APC has them for $20.00. ha

Salza, Thanks for comments......keep them commin

Bet he hasn't even looked at one of the links provided, or even "really" searched on his own.

Probably wants to be Spoon fed Pun intended.
