one of my friends had a unsprung 6 puck ACT disc. it isnt good for daily driving. it was on a apexi turbo'd d16. we installed a act street disc instead b/c we think it was the 6 puck that blew the differential in the tranny out b/c the 6 puck was so harsh.
I am using an ACT stage3 with 6 puck & 12.5 flywheel. Yes it is a little hard to drive on the street but if you are pushing 200+whp...
you want to be able to utilize that power and having a clutch that grabs instantaneous is desireable.

The only clutches we run are ACT and Tilton these are all daily driven excluding the race cars... I don't see why people complain about the 6 puck (or any pucked) disks because they can be engaged just as smooth as an street (sprung) disk... I don't care if it's an HD, Xtreme, or Maxx Xtreme plate I've driven all of them and they all work GREAT on the street... I agree with you Furry in your eye... ACT 6 puck disks
street disks
I would even consider the single disk Tilton (which we run on our All Motor race car) for NA if you got the money... Just my $0.02, good luck
