when I hit that 12.7 she tipped the scale at 1705 lbs. with me in it. since then I have added a 5 point roll bar and dailing in the chassis... so i'm guessing its weighing now around 1780 lbs. will see what she does track with the new configuration..

wait till she gets a new built engine....

Cool site!

In your opinion, given the same mods, how would the weight of your 5G compare to that of a 6G Civic hatch? Right now I'm puzzling between the EG and EK chassis as to which may be a lighter platform for an autocross car. Not that autocross has a ton in common with drag racing, but when it comes to weight reduction and HP, you guys are the gurus. ;-)

BTW, I'm not interested in anything pre-EG even though they may be lighter...

nice setup...damn 1705lbs with you in it...thats crazy light...
my eg6 with complete interior and me in it is 2400lbs...that 700lbs difference...man that must feel nice and quick....

fsp31:
go with the 5g much easier to get them lighter and plus much more choices....and of course cheaper to buy...
