You want to close the sunroof because it does not work, or trying to save weight?

If it's a weight issue, it's not that big of a deal. This reminds me of a story a few years ago. A guy was talking about how he want to make his Civic HB lighter. He was saying take off A, take off B, take off C. Replacing stock with lighter parts, etc. And it goes into **** details where we are talking about maybe ounces.

I'm thinking, he weights about 30lbs more than I do. How about going on a diet instead?

Anyways, my point is remove what you don't need, but a car is still suppose to be enjoyable. If you got the features, enjoy it. A few ounces (or pounds) is not going to make that much of a difference.

Competition? Hmmm, the glass weighs a lot....if you can get some sheet metal welded in place you can probably save about.....mmm, 20 pounds (playing it safe).
