e-Manage being used on OBDO electronics
k this question its being here bc of the mayority of OBDO guys we are....
FI forum will be too fast and they prob dont mess with OBDO anyways
i recently managed to hook up a greddy E manage for a 92-95 civic kit into a 97 civic (OBDII).....
my friend just bought another greddy kit for his del slow...i hooked it up for him and works well...
since it also works on OBDII, has anybody tried , or knows if it will also work on OBDO??? it will work on our cars with a OBDI harness, but what about OBDO electronics and ECU??
i just wondering bc i have come around a few emanages that go for like 360 a piece
thanxs for any info

What wires are required for hookup on the OBDI setup. As long as it is not reading off of any of the TDC or crank angle sensors it should be alright. The only other concern I could forsee would be if it drive's the injectors, but I think it just alters the MAP, etc. like a SAFC.
e manage its easy to hook up
its only like 7 wires
if i remember right from top of my head
i think it taps the injectors, the MAP, and RPM and power
and GND and i think some other wire

I think it will work cause it is just like an VAFC with 4 more wires goint into the injectors, but make sure you have set all the jumpers right for Vtec
The problem here is going to be the injectors. It may still even work, but if it increases the switching load on the ECU you risk frying it out.
