i have now checked the reading on ecu. it is showing 16 flashes. i have released presure from tank by opening it. pulled fuel in line from tank and do not get fuel when key is in run position. i i understand the system fuel should flow with key in run position? car has aprox. 300k how can i further check for proper function ok the fuel system? is there a relay that may be bad that might be replaceable? i have also replaced the throttle body assmb. as a possible resolution with no results.

need more info, what did you mean by "no pressure in tank, have opened it?" cuz if you're getting gas to th tb then fuel fump is working. try checking main fuses and relays

 

check your timing, if you have fuel and spark it should start..
