REALLY CHEAP rubber couplings for IC pipes at MENARDS! (same as home depot)
I figured I'd let you guys know about this since i've been receiving all this help lately
If you have a Menard's by you, go to it and get your rubber couplings there!
THey're only $1.84! (got 4 for $7.77 not bad)
I stopped at Home Depot today, and the same ones were almost $5! Also, they're listed as 2" but they work for 2.25 no problem and when my JCwhitney pipes get here ill see if they work on 2.5 inch as well. Im hoping it does.
Well just figured i'd let you guys know.
3" to 2" reducers 3.29 about
3" to 3" is about $3-4 as well.

they'll blow up...I have seen blowing up at 6-7 psi...
they are meant to hold PVC pipes with no movement at all, compeltely different applications...
home depot for home usage
again, invest in silicone couplers, and have trouble free experience in the future...it's not worth to be driving around in a hot weather to have to stop on the side of the freeway fixing charge pipe..

yea they will blow apart and rip. I know from experience. I went to the track with those on my car. Out of 7 runs i went through 4 of those damn things. Not one of them lasted a whole 1/4 mile
I'm also only boosting .4bar. If you can take them back. either that or you better wrap those things with duct tape and pray.

Are these any good? They don't look to have multiple ply's, but I would only be using these for the charge pipe.

Wow, all you guys must have some facked homedepot and autoparts stores where you live...I have been running radiator house couplings and a drain pipe recucer at the throttle body for almost a year between 5-12 psi and haven't ever had a problem.
radiator hose is alot different then a regualar rubber. radiator hose is braided and ment to take some pressure and heat, unlike the home depot regular rubber coupling.
hey be glad you didnt buy the home depot ones...
ive seen people use the rubber ones and they hold up to 10 psi no problem and others cant even keep silicone ones on... depends on fitment and pipe movement a little also.

Hey what kind of radiator hose do you get. I too those PO's back today. Got myself some JB weld instead lol. "The beginning of a failure" = Name of my turbo project
JB weld is no no on that oil return. It cost me like $5 to get the fitting welded to my oil pan. Hehe, that's almost as much as buying the jb weld.
