Default CRX antenna options

i recently broke the antenna plug where it goes into the radio, i was wondering if there is some type of antenna that plugs in that is concealed behind the dash. I want to get rid of the stocker anyway because of it large size and just use a blocker plate to delete it. Any ideas where i might get of these antennas or any other suggestions?

autoloc makes a hidden f/m antenna. Shave the thing off.

Several companies make hidden antennas, but they never work as well as an OEM replacement. It's going to be a choice between good looks and good reception. Personally, I prefer the OEM style because I hardly ever listen to AM or FM, so I keep it colapsed into it's base. But when I do need it it's there for me to pull out and use.

I took my antenna out of the stock location and put in a Fuba antenna where the rear window squirter was. The reception is great and looks a lot better imo.

You have any pics of it ? Was it a bitch to run the one wire ? I recently accidental cut my antenna and I want to remove it to, but I never knew they had hidden antennas. And does anyone know where to get that cover plate ?

Here's a pic

Running the antenna wire wasnt too bad for me but then again I had my interior pretty much stripped. I still dont think it would be very hard as long as you took out just a few pices like the pillar plastic and the plastic piece that the dome light goes onto. The worst part was cutting away all the metal so I could get to where I was going to be mounting the antenna. Had to go through like 3 layers of sheet metal and then had to grind away some at the very top level (just below the roof itself) to get the antenna cable base to sit flat.

I forgot to respond to that you can get the block off plate from the Honda dealer for like $4 something. And also the gasket which is also $4 something. Oh and the screws are like $.40 cents each.
