My gas pedal is semi stuck! Adjustment?
Can I adjust this? From a stand still it is very stiff and I have to ride the clutch all the time when starting and going. Very very annoying.
Try what keith said first if that does not solve the problem then chances are that your throttle body has developed a ridge on the inside where the butterfly comes to rest. it can be fixed if you remove the throttle body and lightly sand away the ridge. I had this happen on a few cars anr it was very frustrating. If you take off your intake tube, open the butterfly all the way and stick your finger in you should be able to feel if there is a ridge in there it will be sharp so be carefull!!! let me know what you find.
Check the pedal where the cable attaches to it and see if the plastic clip came loose. Hopefully you are not squooshing it when you press the pedal.

Lube it on all the exposed part of the cable then press the pedal so the grease gets sucked inside the covered up parts and that should lube it up. Mine used to stick at stop lights and idle at like 1500 and I would have to pull the pedal back with my foot and it would go to normal. I greased it up inside and out and it was good.

I will be doing that as soon as possible. Very very annoying. I checked it out and it is way too dry. Thanks for the help guys.

im telling you the butterfly is sticking inside the TB. I will try keith's suggestion and see if it helps. If not, I will wait till I get the stock intake to mess with the TB.
It has nothing to do with the butterfly. I checked that yesterday. It is totally fine inside besides being really dirty.
I still have to find my grease again and try greasing up the throttle cable some more.

New news:
When I press the gas while the car is off and sitting for awhile, it is completely smooth. Once I start driving it becomes stuck.

Haha, that's a long time to find grease
If it gets harder when the car's warmer I'd think that it has to do with metal expansion due to heat, ie the butterfly expanding that extra 0.1mm and catching on the inside of the TB or something... I dunno.

Do you spray and then what? I'm not sure how to use the intake manifold cleaner either. I heard it makes the car run really rough and smoke for alittle awhile.
You warm the car up, then remove the air intake from the TB, start the car, and while it's running fire the TB cleaner into the intake while working the butterfly back and forth (ie revving it). Then put the intake back on (without stopping the car) and drive it right away to clean out all the TB cleaner.
After doing that would you want to reset the ecu since the airflow was way up with the tube off or since it was warmed up would it not mess up its settings? Kinda like resetting the ecu after you add an intake. Just curious.
*UPDATE*
I greased everything up and it still gets stuck.
I ordered some throttlebody/intake manifold cleaner from honda. Hopefully that will do the tricl.
