Question for paint guys, Sandpaper or Scotchbrite?
I'm getting ready to try my hand at painting and had a question. I have been told two different things for prepping my old base coat for new paint. Scotchbrite pads and 220 sandpaper. Which one would you use? Thanks
Do I have to buy the scotchbrite at a auto paint store or can I buy the ones in the supermarket?
As long as it's red scotchbrite brand, it doesn't matter where you get it. You might want to try a paint supply store or a hardware store, or possibly stop by a body shop and see if they have a peice they can give you.
