Would this have anything to do with me hacking out my cat converter? Also how could I go about getin rid of the code, and does it stop my VTEC from engaging?

 

did u try reseting ur ecu after u hacked? if u really have a 94 ex it wouldnt matter if u hacked it....or is it a different car ur talkin about? if its ur dc2 in ur sig then yeah it could be cause u hacked it....it could be cause ur cats not gettin enough heat....cats need heat to function an read normal readings...or it will go into limp mode....and vtec doesnt work in limp mode get an o2 simulator or a high flow cat instead of guttin

Since im throwing a code, would it be better to make a test pipe? Ive got some friends at a Speedy that could make me one, sadly I already trashed the cat...Will I still throw codes with the test pipe?

 

yeah definetly cause with obd2 there has to be some kinda secondary o2 reading so u can either tap it with an o2 simulator or convert to obd1

people might give u **** about polutting the earth though lol....u definetly wont pas smog so keep ur stock cat or get a stock cat for smoging
