Typical story of loser thieves gettin my radar and my Alpine headunit. Havent been on this forum for a while but it hought id share.

best part about Integras are the trunk, they couldnt figure out how to open it and take my sub and amp... i shoulda removed them considering i dont use it... but the gas tank was open and it looks like they gave up right after that. I work at a mall for about 2 weeks now and already my **** got broken into, any suggestions so my car dosent get stolen considering i dont have theft, it just seems so simple to do.

I know this topic has been covered before but are alarms really worth it? More importantly best place to park in a mall im already lookin into theft insurance.

alarm w/ code, autolock, removeable steerinwheel hub....make it so they have to tow it if they really wanted it.

 

Buy two of them brake lock things (one for brake pedal, one for clutch pedal) and that streering wheel lock with the double forks! should run u a little over $100

I got more faith in that than a POS alarm

How much does that usually run? Just got the job to pay debt and now im farther into it.

 

Sidewinder makes good alarm systems, and it does have autolock/arm on it as well. dunno retail b/c a friend of mine hooked me up.

My car got broken into also, & I don't even know where to start on rewiring a new radio, how did u rewire things?

 

Alarms and security devices are meant to prevent theif, not someone breaking into it or if they want, vandalize it. A alarm is just a "deterent" (sp?), but most thieves know people don't care when a alarm goes of.

no doubt, im workin right now thinkin someone may be doin **** to it.

Either way thanks for the responses, ill probably just end up puttin a kill switch in there... definatly more conserned about the car being gone than the radio.
