Default Good by ZC hello B16.

After blowing up my turbo ZC motor I'm done with ZC's and now switching to B series. I've messed and tuned ZC's for the last three years and I'm now gonna go B series. I'm ONLY using the B16 for now just to get my car back on the road. I'm building up a LS block on the side and it'll end up being LS/VTec. I picked up my B16 yesterday. I got a OBD1 Cable YS1 " LSD " XS-i motor. How do I know. There's alittle serial number under the word " B16A" if it starts with a 1 you have a integra motor if it starts with a 5 you have a civic motor. I have everything switched over so I can run the motor as a OBD0 motor for now and when I got LS/VTec I will be changing over my EF to a OBD1 set-up and get that 10HP that everyone talks about thats not why I changing the OBD set-up though. Also I decided to get a OBD1 cause one I wanted the LSD trans , Two it's alittle newer and usually not as old or ragged out like the Gen. 1 B16's , and three this way I have everything needed to switch to OBD1. I'm using a OBD0 injectors , dizzy , and a PR3 ECU. I do 100% all my own work so I'll have pic.'s up soon of the motor and install.

With the axles out, you can look straight through the differential, and there's not a bar in the middle.

Fro my understanding it should say "LSD" on the top of the tranny casing, visible fromm when you pop your hood (I think).

Yes they do say it on the casing but thats not a reliable way to tell if it's a LSD or not. Just take off the inner joint on the trans most should come right off on the NON-Intermediate shaft side and just look inside the trans. If you see a big BAR in the middle of the trans it's a non-LSD trans. If you can see straight threw the trans and there's not a bar in the middle of the diff. you have a LSD trans my friend. When I post pic.'s of everything I'll show you what I mean.

CORRECT. Everything else can be faked by someone of ill repute that wants to make a little extra $$$ by selling you a non-LSD trans badged as having an LSD.
