I was wondering if anyone could give me a ballpark figure of what it would cost to build a B16 to push about 15-20lbs of boost????

 

pistons,rods and sleeves. then you need something to control your fuel and get it to the injectors that youll have to upgrade as well. tunning also plays a big part in any setup.

Are the bottom end and the top end going to have to be built to handle 15-20lbs. of boost???

 

One of our guys (Will) has his B16A Rex which isn't boosting yet because he's still got 2000 miles of break it in... That's probably the boost he'll be pushing if not a bit more... It's just GE sleeved to 1.79L with JE 9.0:1 slugs, Eagle Rods, Portflow head (equipped with Ferrea valves, springs and retainers), 1000cc injectors, SCxx turbo, trying to fit the Full Race EX manifold, etc., etc., and I'm pretty sure as of right now he's going to run Power FC as the sequential FAST is a lil more expensive... He just wants ~450whp+ so we'll see, shouldn't be too hard... Good Luck with your setup...
