Just had to add my input on the alpine 9813 I just installed by myself

the quality of the sound is sooooooo good compare to my old sony cdx-ca650x that pos didn't play 90% of my cds

I've read alot of postive comments on the 9813 before I bought it. I did plan to buy the 9811 but realized the price differences couldn't out weigh the extra power the hu offered and also all the cool extra features like: time correction, mediaXpander, and the ablitiy to play MP3s/ WMA was a big for me.

i just got the 9815. I also just installed it yesterday. Nuts man. I can't figure out how to raise the treble and lower the bass.

 

hit the EQ button then hold it down and you can control the diff frequencies, check you owners manual should be pretty much the same as the 9813

 

Alpine has always been my choice of hu. I'm currently using a CDA 7977 CD Tuner
